Pastor Brian has served the Beacon Heights Church of the Brethren for several years and is blessed to be a part of such a vibrant Christian community. Brian oversees the worship, caregiving, and administrative ministries at Beacon Heights. He has a strong passion for connecting this amazing congregation with people in the Fort Wayne vicinity who are looking for a healing, supportive and welcoming place to continue their journeys of faith. Brian previously spent 8-plus years as pastor of a church in Ambler, Pennsylvania, a northern Philadelphia suburb and brought his love of Philadelphia Phillies baseball with him to Indiana. He is married to Kimberly and together they enjoy traveling, biking, finding fun events in the area, cooking locally-grown foods, and raising their wonderful and spirited daughter, Maya.
Andrew comes to Beacon Heights after being a pastor in Maryland, Indiana, and most recently, California. In this position, coordinates the programs for children and youth, develops and supports volunteers, serves as a liaison to several commissions, and helps to represent Beacon Heights and its mission to the world. Andrew is married to Allison and they have two boys, Cooper and Eli and two, big dogs, Kayla and Daisy. He also enjoys traveling and adventures, being in the garden but not pulling weeds, and reading.
Melody is the very talented singer/pianist for the Beacon Heights music program. She coordinates and leads the choir, solo performances, hand bell choir, and the more contemporary musical selections. Her passion for music comes through in her creative, musical spirit, melding traditional hymns with modern expressions of faith through song. Melody enjoys spending quality time with her three young adult daughters.
Anne Ott, Church Secretary
Anne has the all-encompassing title of office manager at Beacon Heights. She has been part of the congregation for more than 20 years and has been on staff 16 years. She is the ‘go to’ person for questions from all and sundry. Anne is a published novelist. She has a passion for words, the sacred feminine, dogs, and birding. She is married to John and has two young adult children, Sam, married to his lovely wife Becca, and Jennie, and a standard poodle, Lucy.
